Max toolbox for Version 8
Has anyone had success using the Max Toolbox (to connect groups of objects at once) in Max 8?

yes. in the first .versions it was working completely normally, but since the last updates (beta) it stopped. don`t know exactly with which version it started.
already missing it a lot......
its working for me. I've noticed when I update Max, I have to go to Extras -> Toolbox and click Activate
I wonder if it's because I'm using Catalina.
im on mojave on my main machine but i just checked on a catalina laptop and its working there too.
nick, - offtopic - i just unzipped the mac version of sdif-examples under win7, it has a "_Deleted Items" folder in it with some stuff. ;)
huh? I just checked the one I uploaded. Theres a few files in there but nothing that too interesting. Did you find something I didnt? the way you put it I thought maybe my tax records were in there.
no, just externals and patches, otherwise i wouldnt have contacted you here. :P
i think it is strange that macOS does allow to include such invisible folders in zips (even if it was .maxzip in this case), and i only found it because i usually sort downloads via windows.
Hey, I've worked on updating the toolbox and fixing the "activate" bug for Max8. this version should work (for me on MacOS 10.13). Also made some various other improvements. It is not yet merged with the main branch but you can already give it a go here: https://github.com/tmhglnd/maxtoolbox

I can confirm that I was able to activate the toolbox and it continued to work when I restarted Max.
Unfortunately, seems not to work anymore...
On Max 8.6.0, Macbook M2 Sonoma
Just reinstalled and it's working on Max 8.6.5 on Sonoma
extras -> MaxToolbox.maxpat->activate : is working
Max 8.6.5 - Sequoia 15.1

The current Toolbox on my fork (https://github.com/tmhglnd/maxtoolbox) works for me in Max 8.6.3. I do see an error with the [absolutepath] and therefore an error with [node.script], something seems to have changed there. This does result in the Toolbox not staying in the "activated" state. I will look into it in the future.
The toolbox on the github from natcl will probably stay behind for long, since natcl is not actively responding to my pull requests anymore.
you mean, this automatic grouping thing inside maxmsp 8? you can use the default one inside google or github. it apparently seems to work
