Max9, MacOS, and eGPU
Hello,
I decided to jump to Max9, and run projects on an alternate configuration for a decent performance on Jitter : MacOS Sequoia (intel), eGPU with an AMD RX6800XT (which I frequently use with Blender)
CMD+i > "Prefer External GPU option"> start.
It turns out I'm running at a solid 60FPS, but for the wrong reason : nothing shows up, on any GL related object, and no error is logged in the console. Just a grey window, and this message on launch :
OpenGL Version 4.1 ATI087.0.24, GLSL Version 4.10Same result on every setting I tried, except when reverting from glcore to gl2 which gives me a sad stream of :
GL Error: Invalid Framebuffer OperationThere is very little info online, I simply wonder if anything *not Metal* has simply been dropped on MacOS versions of Max. Otherwise, has anyone had any luck with a similar setup?
