mc.groove~ individual pitch shift per channel
Hello,
When working with mc.groove~ with time stretch activated is it possible to pitch shift each channel individually? Or, is pitchshift global for all channels? I don’t see a way to address pitchshift per channel via messaging.
Thank you for the help!
S
it seems mc.target can't address the 'pitchshift' attribute in message form because it's an attribute:

you can still use the basic way of pitchshifting by signal(but i realize that's not what you meant :D)
i must share the patch because it sounds quite meditative 😜 (just needs a few stereo ping pong tap delays at the output to feedback and it'll be entrancing for hours!)
Thanks for the response!
Sending a multi channel signal will change the speed of the play back but if timestretch is on it will not affect pitch. I’m interested to manipulating playback speed and pitch independently per channel :).
Thanks again,
S

oh nice, i see now! in that case, apologies to the OP: 'setvalue' is the awesomest!
Thank you Lucas! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I’ve studied that help patch and have used the setvalue message but didn’t realize that it also works for attributes. Many thanks once again.
