MIAP (Manifold-Interface Amplitude Panning) v3.0.0 Release - Available via Package Manager

MIAP v3.0.0 is out and available via the Max 8 and 9 Package Manager.
New releases can be found at the link below (.dmg is code-signed for macOS users), BUT I recommend you install it via the Package Manager directly.

MIAP v3.0.0 — New support for polysets (i.e. >= 3 nodes)
This release has a feature I’ve been wanting to add for a long while now, so I’m really happy to have it incorporated.
MIAP now supports polysets of >= 3 nodes (not just trisets), while still providing constant power gains for all sets, and also adding support for non-convex polygons.
I’ve updated the panning math in such a way that keeps the legacy triset (3-node set) behavior identical to before, generalizing the Barycentric panning math using “Mean Value Coordinates”. If you're interested in a quick visual demonstration of this new MVC approach, I have an interactive demo up on the MIAP site here (also mirrored in the help patchers via the "About Panning" tab). The ability to enlarge any singular interpolation space out from the "primitive" triset type provides new expressive power in map design that I try to explain and demonstrate in the youtube video above, so please do check that out if interested. Also, the package now ships with multiple polyset versions of existing example maps, such as shown below. You can compare how these design alter the gain behavior via the new "MIAP_compare_maps.maxpat" example patch (example comparison shown below).
