MIAP v2.0.0 - Call for Beta Testers

Hello everyone!

At long last (it only took 10 years :)))) ), [MIAP.map] finally supports intuitive (I hope) Max-native UI-based map creation and editing!! Under the hood, all the new behavior leverages the pre-existing scripting language (documented in the help patches), but it is sooooo nice to be able to use the UI directly for this stuff.

I'd love some brave beta testers to put this new functionality through the wringer. Need both macOS (10.14.6+, Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows (10+) testers, using Max 8 (I'm hoping for at least one Windows tester). Any takers? I'll create a tutorial video walking through the new functionality, prior to sharing the beta release.

If you're game, please send me a message and let me know your hardware, OS, and Max version. Best way to do that is via the mailing list or direct email (https://www.zacharyseldess.com/miap/contact/), but I'll check this thread as well.

Once this is tested sufficiently, I'll also finally try to release this via the proper Max Package Manager system (in addition to via the website).

Thank you!

Best,
Zachary

What I found is

This link only contains version 1.4.1

This link is broken

I downloaded 1.4.1 - would like to check out 2.0.0 and hear how this sounds verses Spat5.

*Binaural Reverb in 1.4.1 is awesome!

Hi Wil,

Glad you like that example! That wasn't supposed to be a link above, sorry. Edited. v2.0.0 isn't on the site yet. I'd like to get some testing done by others first (hence the thread). Send me an email with your specs and I'll include you in the group (or put your email and details here, but email is preferable, thanks).

Best,

Z
