I have a thing I need to do, but haven't used max for ages.

I'm looking at a piece of hardware that outputs channel 1 note info, and control info on cc 80 only.

I want to interface this with my modular, but the midi-cv convert I have is really basic and I can't do anything with cc 80.

So i figure I can probably take the incoming signal and then make a patch that outputs the data on a channel and cc number that my cv converter will read.

Any ideas where I guy might start? maybe some object names? I haven't built a patch from scratch in about 5 years.

Listen with ctlin, transform anything you need, output with ctlout on the appropriate channel. The help patches for these should have enough reusable stuff for you to solve this easily.
