Midi Out with Monome Arc 2 and BEAP

Hello all,

I'm new to Max and experimenting with a Monome Arc 2 and BEAP. What I'm trying to do is create a very simple patch that generates midi cc from the encoder values and use those midi messages inside Ableton Live but I can't seem to make it work.

I thought it might be as simple as connecting serialosc to an Arc CC module and then straight into BEAP's Midi Out, but I'm obviously missing something. The Midi Out module does seem to be receiving values, but when I then go into Live and monitor incoming messages from my chosen port I don't see a thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
