midi sync to Cubase

Hi,
i’m new to max and have one Question: how can i sync (start/stop / bpm) a max-seqencer with cubase
(max as rewire slave or over loopmidi)
if i push global transport the max-sequencer runs and midi plays a cubase instrument.
In ableton the connection is automatic, but in cubase it isn’t
