Miraweb not working in Apple Silicon
Hello,
I tried the new version for the apple silicon and overall all my patches worked, until I tried to use Mira.
It works with the iPad app but it doesn't work with the Miraweb since I can not get the right web socket port.
Any clues how to overcome that? is that a bug?

Hi Pagarreton,
We've recently made some changes to get miraweb working on m1 machines — if you have not already, can you first update to Max 8.2.1, and maybe even reinstall Miraweb 1.2.6 from the package manager after you do so?
If the issue persists after you take these steps, can you send an email to support@cycling74.com?
You can find 8.2.1 here: https://cycling74.com/downloads
Hi Alex,
I reinstalled as you said from the package manager. It works really well on the m1.
thanks for your quick reply.
Pagarreton, great to hear! Thank you for letting me know.
Hi Alex, I have one more question.
I would like to know if there is any plans for updating the supported objects in Mira.
I am doing a big project with Mira now with 10+ musicians and it is always super tricky to work within the limitations of the system. The first one is not being able to work with bpatcher make it everything more difficult, the support also of objects like nslider would save me several hours of work.
I am actually trying some system that makes screen captures and load it on a fpic dynamically, wich is a weird and tricky turnaround I think.
All the community is waiting for this kind of updates for years. I hope to hear there is something planned for the near future :)
Hi Pagarreton — I don't have a timeline for future Mira updates, but I've logged these requests (bpatcher and nslider) in a ticket for engineering. If you have a specific example of some functionality that would be helpful for your work, please feel free to send it along to support@cycling74.com and I'll add it to the ticket.
