Move multiple patchcords at once

Hi people!

I have a pretty simple question. Im working on a project for school, to make a additive synth, but at the moment im stuck at a point where ive connected 16 message boxes to 16 subpatch outlets, but ill have to connect 10 more rows like that. Im sure there is a simple trick to cope the whole, so i have 16 more message boxes, but also 16 extra outlets, and then select those 16 patch cords and move them all from the second 16 outlets to the first, so that i dont have to do all of the 160 patch cords by hand.

Thanks!

with alt-click you can select multible cords or have a look at Max-Toolbox

I know how to select them all but i cant move them all at once, when i try to drag the cord, only one moves

select all cords you want to move, then click on the red point of one of them then you can move multible cords.

I dont know what im doing wrong, when i select the cords i want to move, and click on the red dot, and them move it, only the cord of the red dot im dragging is moving, not all of them at once, but max toolbox saved me, so thanks anyway!

Did you try to select them all, then move the green dot?
If each connection is independent, you can't do it.
You should install the Toolbox mentioned above, it's amazing

it takes about 2 minutes to make 160 connections. are you willing to invest 2 minutes in your future?
