Does anyone get how to pitch shift audio with mubu.granular~ ?

" For granular synthesis in synchronous mode, a marker track is required that marks the elementary waveforms of the audio stream." 

Does anyone get how to pitch shift audio with mubu.granular~ ?
The help file says
