MULTI MAP MIDI LOOPER LIVE
Hello,
So here is my problem. I use several Looper in LIVE (10), I have a MIDI assignment for each REC and each CLEAR of each Looper (4 for the moment), and I would like to have a single button to activate all the CLEARs at the same time. I would also like to be able to automate this button in a clip, the CLEAR is apparently not automatable.
It's very simple but I can't find any solutions and I suspect that it's easy to program this kind of MULTIMAP MIDI in MAX FOR LIVE, right?

I found that if you attach a button to your message, you can map the button that in turn trigger your message..

Thank You Dax ! I will try with simpler commands but I have the impression that the problem with the commands of CLEAR loop is that they are not accessible via the Live API. It's complicated but it worksWell.
I dont think you need the IAC driver, just setup max in ableton preferences, en set you midi channel in ABL to listen to MAX and set the ctlout to from max 1, and you are good to go, ( I had to edit my message ? something went wrong ) anyway 20 seconds and done..
I never noticed that ableton devices can have buttons which are mappable but not automatable. There is no clean way to automate the "clear". Another workaround maybe to assign a keyboard key to the "clear" buttons. Then automate a button of a m4l device which is triggering the keyboard key with 11strokes?
Yes that's what I was thinking but I can't seem to do it, I will try again because I don't really like going through an IAC bus just for this command. It's for the concert, I'm looking for the most stable and simple system possible. Thank you for your answers, I try and I will get back to you if I do not succeed
