Multiple microphone input & make different sound effects to each

Hi, everyone!
I'm new to max msp and now working on a project which needs to deal with 3 inputs from 3 different microphones.
For each live audio signal, I need to add different audio effects.
Now that I have found the basic ~adc and ~dac object to make audio effects, I still wonder how to link the 3 inputs to each objects.
I also found the audio status window, but I cannot have 3 devices working at a time.
Is there any other way to implement this function?
Any advice will be appreciated.
