Multiplying FLONUMs with non-zero decimals

Hi,

I'm reasonably new to MAX. I'm trying to do something that should be incredibly simple but for some reason is not.

I have two different FLONUMs. I want to multiply them together, however, if I do they only multiply the significant figures to the left of the decimal point. I've attached an example.

Why is this the case? And how do I fix it? I want 10 * 2.9 = 29 not 10 * 2.9 = 20.

I'd suggest going through and doing the first max tutorials to see how the objects in max deal with floating point numbers.

Or, if you're in a rush, look at the helpfile for [* ].
