Musical Performance Using Max 7 and Reason 8 - HELP!

Hi there,

I've been challenged as a newcomer to Max to create a musical performance using mainly the MIDI function in Max 7. I'm able to create a basic midi send to Reason by creating a control surface, but would like some help!

I want to create code that will allow me to press a note/chord on one K slider and have it trigger random notes (with a bang or something?) in that key so like a chord and then a melody over the top, and a bass sound also.

I'd like to be able to trigger 2/3 different drum loops that will loop over this performance.

Any help is much appreciated!

Hi John, could you post what you've done so far?
