If I try and close my device when editing, max asks me if I'd like to save. If I hit save, nothing happens. If I hit don't save, max crashes. What's the deal?

If I try and close my device when editing, max asks me if I'd like to save.  If I hit save, nothing happens.  If I hit don't save, max crashes.  What's the deal?
