No sound with RNBO export to Raspberry Pi 3 a+

Hi,
I am able to export a simple RNBO patch to my Rpi 3 a+ that has the firmware loaded on the SD card. And I'm also able to choose my connected audio interface (Roland Go:Mixer). But I am not getting any sound from it. Am I forgetting something, or is rpi 3 a+ not compatible?

I checked my Roland Go:mixer with other sources, such as laptop/phone and it does work with those.

I wonder if that audio interface might have a software mixer and the volume is turned down?

You might try sshing into your Pi and running"alsamixer" to see

using alsamixer you should be able to select that interface and see what kind of software controls it exposes, maybe there is a volume to turn up. Below is a capture of alsamixer controlling a USB audio interface I'm using, I've turned the PCM up there.

Thx! Didn't think of that. However still no sound after increasing from 46 to 100.

I do get an upload error sometimes. Can we deduce something from this?

I found 2 other usb audio interfaces, and luckily I do get sound with one of them! So It seems that some interfaces just don't work even if they are visible in the audio setup. At least the rpi3A+ is compatible.
