Hi folks, I'm experimenting with different ways of working with max + external languages. I wondered if there are anywhere any docs or articles (or source code?) on how exactly the node4max object does it's input and output of messages and data? As is, if I wanted to build a similar object for a non-node process (Clojure or Racket for example), what I would need to do in an external in C to make it happen in a similar manner. I assume (perhaps incorrectly) that there is a C object that implements the get and set dict parts of the API somehow?

If anyone has done something similar in other languages and has source I could look at, that would be swell.
