Note repeat, ratcheting

Hi,

i´d like to add note repeat or ratcheting to a sequencer i´m working on.
My current solution is to have a second metro object and counter with twice the tempo and if i want to repeat a note i switch between the two counters. This isn´t exactly a great solution since i also have to disable the connection to the coll i use for the storage of the sequence, for as long as note repeat has to be active, very convoluted patching.

So, i wonder if there´s a more elegant solution to this problem, any idea´s much appreciated.
