path & macro
what do you think of this path :
$(C74SUPPORT)..\sdk-build\externals\
$(C74SUPPORT) = c:\sdk\
the path is searched in c:\sdk\..\sdk-build\externals\
what does it means double point .. ?
..\..\ ?
Windows can't found a path like c:\sdk\..\sdk-build\externals\
do you have a book for learn visual studio c, c++ project and compilation ?
I will acknowledge that getting the path configuration set up, especially on Windows projects, is really challenging. It will be easiest, by far, if you simply copy the MaxSDK and make your new projects in the same folder hierarchy as the existing projects.
I'm working on some improvements to both the process and the documentation of the process but they aren't quite ready to share.
In the mean time I suggest, as I mentioned above, to work inside of the SDK structure rather than next to it.
each project is configured for visual c++ of this year. cygwin doesn't use xml, it's better for your hdd.
