pattr, rslider and pictslider

Hi guys,
in M4L this works only when storing but not when automate (only one parameter seems to work)
Even trying the pattr help file example here does not work with automation
And this workaround works when MIDI learning and storing but still does not work with envelope automation
Any idea?
Oh how much i miss a live.rslider and a live.pictslider! ( and even more today while i'm waiting to go over my flu...and lost a gig today! )
