Philip Meyer MIDI Tools Bundle - Open Source?
Does anyone know if the Meyer Devices MIDI Tools bundle is open-source?
Can the Max devices be modified or are they locked from editing somehow?
Pretty sure it is not, as anything that doesn't explicitly says it is open source, is not open source.
Just because the code is public doesn't mean it is open source.
The devices are not locked from editing.
In fact, just opened one and it says "Philip Meyer, 2024, All Rights Reserved" inside, so yeah, not open source.
Thanks Namakemon. The question should have been phrased in terms of them being locked from editing or not, as opposed to open-source.
Good to know it's possible to study and modify the devices for personal use.
