Possible to record JITTER HDMI out from MAC into PC through ELGATO CAPTURE CARD?
It is apparent that it is too much for my 2015 MACBOOK PRO to run MAX/JITTER while recording in OBS. I get to many dropped frames and stuttering. (Hardware rendering is maybe good for one but not the other process). I thought to take advantage of the WINDOWS laptop I have by using it to record the HDMI output of my MACBOOK PRO. That WINDOWS machine has an HDMI port, which I hope can take the video feed in. My understanding is that using the ELGATO CAPTURE CARD I can bring that signal into the WINDOWS machine for recording in OBS. My question is how can I send video out via the HDMI port of my MACBOOK PRO? Is there any potential pitfalls in this process I should know before purchasing the ELGATO?

For that you just need to send your video to a jitter window (or jit.world, which you are probably already using to play the video as textures) and place it on the second monitor.
Never used an Elgato so cannot comment on that.
I understand VIDEO is obtained but I imagine AUDIO is more problematic.
Can AUDIO be obtained through HDMI somehow?
HDMI transfers Audio together with Video.
If you plug HDMI Cable between your Macbook and any device that
has full HDMI support, then audio can be sent to it.
