I'm making a super simple patch based on the built-in LFO device in Max for Live. All I want to do is triplicate the device so I can have 3 different LFOs with 8 mappable parameters each by default - I use it all the time but I often want different rates and shapes doing the modulating so as much as its nice to have 8 parameters, it sucks that I can only use one LFO to drive them (obviously I can just insert more instances but I'm doing this for speed and also just to learn about Max).

The problem: I've duplicated the LFO and all is working fine, BUT when I switch to the '8 mapping' view on the 2nd lfo, it appears in the wrong place, obscuring LFO1. I keep changing the placement as per my screenshots and saving, but the save doesn't work - as soon as I reclick on the mapping view it appears back in the old position.

update: I'm still stuck but on investigation I think the problem is different than I though. When I click the disclosure rectangle on EITHER lfo in ableton now, I get the same 8 parameter menu in an ugly position, but also it lists all 8 parameters as yet-to-be-mapped, even though I've mapped the first one already in the first view. So I've broken something somewhere......

the position is overwritten by the "script sendbox" messages.
