I just opened a patch created 2 years ago with max 7 : on max 7 still works, on the latest Max 8 I found a problem with some of the live-dial objects, which are (on max8) impossible to "turn" , or do not react to the mouse. After some research I found out that those (which I use to send values between 0. and 1.) have in their inspector chosen INT as "unit style" (type is float) - changing the unit style to float makes them usable - but I wonder WHY this change which could (unless I am missing something - possible) can only break patches. Or why did it work, and why it does not now ??
