Quick Record
I have been using the (convenient) quick record from the extras menu. Are there any reasons not to use this in place of things like sfrecord etc.? That is to say, does "quick" also have a negative quality connotation here?
Well, actually "Quickrecord" is just a Max patch built around the [sfrecord~] object..(try opening quickrecord and deactivate presentation mode, and you'll see).
So, it's just a matter of convenience: choose if you want to implement and personalize sfrecord~ into your patch or use quickrecord (which is very very comfortamble, I agree!)
Hi. Ok that's fine - it actually is sfrecord~. Thanks for the info.
Quick Record is a GNOME board applet that makes one-click documenting of real-time songs or conversation possible. For example, if you pay attention to stereo (with a stereo card, not Internet stereo with Actual Gamer etc.) on your computer you may want to automatically record some system. With Quick Record you can just simply select the applet so you won't reduce a second of the system. You can also determine a prerecord shield so also a couple of a few moments of songs before just click is stored.
Thanks!

HI, can I use quick record to play notes on the kslider object and store in my patch? If so, how would I do this?
Thanks
