I was wondering if you are able to record what is happening on the screen with Quickrecord as well as the audio being produced. I have a visual element within my patch and would like to have this present in the recording.

On macOS I'm using mostly SyphonRecorder or ScreenFlow. Both can record audio and video. For SyphonRecorder you have to add Syphon functionality to your patch, but it's rather simple (and Syphon package for MaxMSP is free, when ScreenFlow is a commercial application).

I have no up-tu-date experience with current Windows software for screen recording, but I'm sure, other colleagues will suggest solutions ;-)
