Realtime sound slicer to pattr

Qbrick's icon

Is their a patch (because I can't even think how to start on myself, lazy I know) that can slice sounds in realtime that it gets from a microphone.
Preferable free or for low price. (Don't have a big budget for this)

I found something called chopper, but I'm not sure it can really chop in realtime and send it to a 'matrix' where each sound can be processed separately to a filter.
Don't know what to ask more before I know if it can work.

Hey Lazy,

This is Max's bread and butter, can you describe the project a bit more? And have you tried building anything?

No, I don't know where to start. How do I even slice a piece of sound (realtime).

greets.

you'll want the patch called "buffershuffler". That's your ideal starting point.

Isn't that a ableton Live-subpatcher and is it possible to use it without max for live.

I've heard about sound_chopper2 as alternative, anybody has experience with this?
Because it costs 10 euro's and I want to be sure before I buy it.
