I understand I can remove items from the toolbars by right clicking and removing. I want to be able to remove some of these options and have it remain permanent until I re-add it. However each time the application is restarted, all the removed buttons appear.

Does anyone know if this is the intended design? Should those buttons appear again? I'm using Max 8, Windows.
