Replacing wait~ and shot~ by Andrew Benson

I was using Andrew Benson's signal rate utilities (https://cycling74.com/tools/benson-signal-rate-utility/#.VfkZdc7gBBo) for 'sample and holding' variable data in an enveloping sampler, but they stopped working when I changed from Max 7.0 to 7.0.5
:(
I found a beautiful replacement for the wait~ object posted by Andrew as well a while ago (https://cycling74.com/forums/wait-transport-lock-1/)
:D
However I do not know how to replace shot~ with accuracy (i.e. a signal-triggered ramp that can't be interrupted mid-ramp, triggered by zero-nonzero transitions)
:b
I tried zigzag~ but it doesn't seem to work as expected. Mainly I need to real-time vary the length of the ramp so it would be great if this could be set as a signal instead of a list.
It would be amazing if someone could highlight a solution for doing something similar in Gen~.
All the best!

will this do the trick ?
adapted from Bertrand Fraysse https://cycling74.com/forums/quick-and-easy-stop-a-gen-phasor-after-one-period/ :))

Thanks Vichug, although it wont work exactly as shot~ (since the phase of the ramp gets reset after receiveing a new zero-nonzero transition), it is indeed a one-shot ramp generator.
I'll try it within the main implementation to see how it works with everything else.
many, many thanks :D

ooh, you mean, it should not reset while it's still ramping ? then what about this :D :

is got the 'busy state' output and everything....
gen~ is really nice - thanks Vichug
