Hey guys, I do not use Max for Live but I understand how powerful it is. I recently got myself some equipment, Kontrol S8 [Traktro], I have a KP3 effects processor and I intend to use APC40 as a Step-Sequencer.

Lets make it simple for now. What kind of setup would allow me to select which channel/deck is routed thru KP3 and I am asking that from the perspective of Max for Live mostly.

At the moment, I am not looking for a code or anything, if there is a little M4L device out there please tell me but I am just curious how would you M4L folks would go about dealing with this problem.

I wouldn't use M4L for it. There 's already the 'external audio effect' in Live. I'd drop one on each channel that I'd like to route and assign the enable button or send level to a midi controller.
