sample and hold a numbers ( not signal)

I created a patch using the coll object that includes two number that are sending to a multiple and to a divider to create a different interval against a fundamental.

I would like to sample and hold those numbers that are store in the coll and to unpack them to a different multiple and a divider in order to create a delay in the sound. so basicly I want to sample and hold them but I cannot use the sah~ object (probably because they are numbers and not signals?)
