Sample Object in Gen~ patch not outputting sound
Hello! I have been trying to learn Gen recently from the Generating Sound and Organizing Time book, and I have been trying to combine two of the patches together to create a patch where I can alter the sample playback by altering the phasors that control that sample's playback. I am trying to do this by using the phasor_beat_slicer.maxpat patch and the go.ramp_bursts_shaped abstraction.
The issue I am having is that the signal chain that has the phasor to control the sample object is connected to the left inlet of the sample object, and is outputting a phasor signal to control playback, but for whatever reason, the sample object does not output sound, and I am not sure why Ive been trying to troubleshoot but Ive been coming up with nothing. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong so I can actually use these patches.

you don't need to declare the buffer length inside gen~
gen~ get it's from the external buffer -- just set it [buffer loopy] and run a phasor in and it works ;)
