sfrecord 8 channels , maximum file length

hi all,
i'm trying to record a 90 minutes 8 channels soundfile (backing-up ADAT recordings)
but it seems that i can't exceed 2,15GB files , which means approximatively 50 minutes.

I'm surprised, i thought limits would be much higher.

Is there a tip for that ?
I would really like to keep all this in a 1 file format.

thanks for your advices :)

Maximum file size depends on the file system used on your computer (FAT32, HFS, APFS, etc.) and on the audio file format chosen (AIFF, BWF, W64, etc.).
Then there may be a limit introduced by sfrecord~ itself, I don't know (I don't think W64 is possible).

You can also use a virtual audio device like Soundflower, and record it on a multitrack audio recorder (Logic, Reaper, Protools... )
