I'm a technician at Eventide who's put together an auto-wah in Gen to demonstrate some of the cool things that can be done with Max/MSP/

. It is currently available in the Eventide H9000 package in Max's package manager. I've uploaded a short demo here: 

One distinguishing feature of this auto-wah is an initial split of the incoming audio into low and high frequencies by a crossover filter. The lows undergo amplitude modulation, while the highs are effected by lowpass filter frequency & resonance modulation. The lowpass filter is the excellent ladder emulation from the smFilterPack package. There's also an auxiliary LFO, which can effect either the amplitude of the lowpass filter frequency modulation, or the phase of both LFOs.

I hope folks find it useful both on and off the Eventide H9000 :)
