I'm trying to make a patch that performs spectral analysis complete, and is compatible with all versions of Max MSP, including the one that use (Windows 64bit). Now, I use the FFT analysis as directed by the fabulous work of Charles on the transformation of the FFT analysis in Jitter-matrix, and I get a progressive series numeric pairs involving the energy contained in each harmonic from the n. 0 to n. FFT-size.

Now, when going to analyze a simple waveform or for example the sound of a single piano note, the result is a fundamental and a series of harmonics that never correspond precisely with the frequency sought, but have a deviation that can be calculated between (n1-n2) / FFT size. In other words, the divisions being discrete FFT, as they do to reconstruct a waveform that can be also not corresponding to one of them?
