As far as I know, it is not possible, to make a standalone work on Mac and Windows, or is it?

So I would have to create a Mac-Version on Mac and a Windows-Version on a Windows-Machine, right?

How can I make both refere to the same media-files to save disc-space? (I need to send them on a USB-Stick and the patches uses a lot of audio and videoclips I don't want to copy onto it twice)
