taking photo-quality pictures(5+ megapixel) with Max/Jitter and a digital camera
I've recorded movies and stills from various types of video cameras using Jit.grab. I need take higher resolution photos though, around 3264 × 2448 pixels . I want to be able to zoom in on various areas the photos without the pixillation that happens with a video still (of say 1280x720).
I'm curious- Is there a way to hook up MAX/JITTER to a normal digital camera (5+ megapixels) to shoot photos and save them on the computer's hardrive, using the full capability of the camera. In other words I want to have Jitter take the picture (via a digital camera) and either save it directly or import it (from the camera) to a folder on my computer's hardrive, which I can then access and blow-up in Jitter.
Can it be done using the camera on an iPhone for example?
Any suggestions?
-thanks in advance
With the iPhone, you may try to use Syphon. http://syphon.v002.info/ there seems to be something also for Canon DSLR's here:https://github.com/v002/v002-Camera-Live
Don't know about resolution and performance/frame rate, though.
Hey Sonerico, any luck with this ?
