Text input field with Miraweb?

Hi all,

I'm a long time ableton user who is pretty new to Miraweb. I'm attempting a project where text inputs trigger sounds in M4L. Sounds change depending on the characters in the string. I have actually formed the max patch that can do this, but at the moment I can only run it from my pc. If it could run through miraweb then any user could input text from their smartphone. Of course the hiccup is that textedit objects are not supported objects in Mira... but I wonder if there's a workaround... coding custom xebra object for example.

Is it possible? I've looked all around the web for an answer, and I'm just looking for a "yes it's easy, dummy" or "no, your efforts are futile" response at this point. Would be appreciated.
