I want to run three of these camera's http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/hd-webcam-c615?crid=34
and one of these camera's
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/hd-pro-webcam-c920?crid=34
(total 4)
at the same time in my Jitter patch
on a
1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2Gb 1067 Mhz DDR3 MacBook Air

So far I can get only 2 at any time to run in the jit.qt.grab [settings] dialog. All four cameras show up but only two at a time will transmit signal.

Anyone else had experience with this kind of setup?

Chances are the USB bus is saturated with 2 of 'm.

You may try using a USB hub with external power supply, but in my (short) experience with multiple webcams, I managed to get only two of them working well on a single usb bus, the third one being recognized but dropping/freezing frames. (I think that is due to bandwidth/serial signal limitations)
