I have audio signal and I need to know the amplitude of given frequency. I think I should use pfft? Am I right?

hey, you're kind of right, but it depends what you do after. With fft you have alot information which change fast. What exactly do you want to do ? Maybe some already constructed analysis tool like fiddle~ or bonk~ or sigmund~ or centroid~ or other external would be better for you.

i wouldnt use fft, it involves latency introdution and makes things only more complicated. the fffb object shsould be accurate enough for most power measurement/freuqency analyzer applications.

I want to create some sort of resonator-effect. This effect will be dublicate some frequencies of input signal and add some harmonics.

How to know volume of different frequencies of input signal?
