I'm probably being a knob, but why is it not letting me post/paste my code?

Version of Max?
What kind of platform?
OS version?

What do you mean by "copy/paste?" Do you mean into a patch? onto a webpage like this?
Got a reproduceable sequence of events so we're not guessing?

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

I don't use the code tab I just paste the copy compressed straight in. It does whatever it needs do.

it puts in the /code thing I don't do that I just paste in the copy compressed.

besides it should appear automatically, i believe you dont even need to use those tags.

the code tag is for pasting snippets of code such as c++ or java

Compressed copy from the edit menu in Max is designed to be pasted like ordinary text. In fact, you can also delete the [pre] and [code] tags that are automatically generated. The relevant parts of the compressed data begin and end with dashes.

Hmm.. the code tag feature isn't even working. The first sentence in my last post should be formatted like my attachment.

haha..... Guys, I thank you for your replys, and have posted many example patches before....

Yesterday, no matter what way i tried (all of the above included) i could write, but not succesfully post a patch/compressed code.

Today I do exactly the same thing and it works (as it has previously) straight away.

Thanks again :)
