Hey guys, it's been a while since I've used Max, so I'm needing assistance with this patch. I'm trying to map the mousestate to an image, eventually, to create an app that would be a gun shooting at targets. I'm having trouble getting the mouse to follow the location at the moment. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated!

unless has changed during the last 15 years mousestate is always relative to 0 0 in the topmost patcher.

try an lcd object in background for reporting the absolute position.
