I am using a waveform~ recording live straight from the adc~ to the a record~ into a buffer~. Which is read by a groove~ (all of that live). Nothing very fancy actually...

It was working more than well on max 4.6.3...

But now I need to update to max7 (I am still using the demo just yet) as there is no way to use this older version on a new macbook pro anymore as I can't install snow leopard anymore and max 4.6.3 stopped working with LION and later versions. anyway.... (sorry I'm bit nostalgic of max 4 design and "direct to what I needed" feeling, my bad it seems that I should have updated way more earlier)

But my problem is that the waveform~ GUI in Max7 is super glitchy when recording live..... (actually it is the case since Max5). It is not smooth at all, always zooming in/zooming out when live recording and that is highly annoying (and close to impossible) to perform live in that situation and feel it is not very fluid as it use to be.

Has anyone an idea how to smooth that up and make it work just like in the good old days ? It would be a huge help !
