I'm new to Max MSP. I work with lighting and was wondering if or how it's possible to use Max MSP to create a color picking utility, something like what the "swatch" object. I've seen some examples in video tutorials, though not a clear view of how the RGB is generated from the swatch object. So first, an example of how to go from the swatch object to RGB to OSC output is what I've been looking for. Next, if able to generate 6 color values then how would they be separated? It would have to have settings and controls. If only using an LED light with Red, Green, and Amber, 4 colors, there would have to be something like a parametric eq adjustment to fine tune the relationship between the colors because the fixtures are different. So custom control of custom combinations would be needed.

I'm not sure how far I'll get in this. Though any examples or tips would be appreciated.
