just exchanged most of my old pythagoras phasewrap pimult whatever things against cartopol/poltocar things, even when the input range of the original is different.
it is probably more stable, and it is for sure saving quite some CPU compared to specific built custom MSP code.
strange enough that inside pfft~ everybody is using them, but not neccessarily in other contexts such as filterdesign or orthogonal complex signals. but in many cases you can.
