Turned on when i touch it...
Now that i have your attention, i would like some help. i'm extremely bad with math, especially in Max. i would like to be able to have the toggle on only when it's touched (welcome to the world of Mira...). Can anyone school me?
Here is my extremely feeble attempt:
Here ya go. Notice that the toggle is only for visual feedback (it is set to 'ignore click' in the inspector). You are actually click a ubutton.
Send a bang to the ubutton to invert the click effect.
Metamax THANK YOU!
damn it, unfortunately ubutton is not Mira friendly yet...still cool to learn the trick.
Yup.. ubutton isn't Mira compatible. In fact, Mira isn't playing nice with mousestate, even if I use compatible objects...
But it seems to work if you grab data from the multitouch object. The fifth element in the output list is a momentary 1/0...
hey, how did that work for you? My last reply was right on the heels of your message - not even sure if you saw it.
i did see it and thank you, it could work. i had a gig that night, was trying to do last minute Mira adjustments.
