Hi, I am probably missing something obvious, because I don't know anything about keyboards and ASCII code. 

I just want to be able to open Google and type something to search. 

My patch seems to be ok, but there seems to be the need for some conversion to reflect the generated text correctly in google (or in any app, btw).

I'm not sure about your question, but do you need something like this?

It works indeed, but for some reason (I plan to film it) I would need to see the text being entered in the search box as if it was really typed by someone, letter after letter.

I started to make a conversion table, but it's a bit boring....! I'll do it anyway. I suspect it's because I'm on a french keyboard ? 

What other factor could be the cause ? OS ?

I'm ok with translating each message to the correct character. 

But I still got a problem : mxj autobot doesn't seem to output Carriage Return (ASCII 13) and Del (ASCII 127). Any idea why ? 

aka.keyboard doesn't work anymore so I can't compare.
