I am trying to get some osc data from TouchDesigner to MaxMsp but I'm unable to do so. I can easily send data from Max to TD but it seems impossible to do it the other way around.

It is quite a lot of data that I am trying to send from the one program to the other (approximately 30 different ones, constantly changing).

What should I connect to my udpreceive in order to be able to see the data coming in MaxMsp? I am very lost with that and any help would be appreciated! :-)

Just by any chance have you take a look to the CNMAT Externals on the package manager, from what I remember that package have some very useful OSC objects that I used with TouchOSC a while ago and I think it might be easy to integrate it with TD.

How do you communicate from max msp with touch designer? I'm trying every way and I can't.

I have tried with udpreceive and send, I can only receive from touch designer and not send. Having the same IP address and port.

You should be able to receive the messages in Max without using any other external objects.

Here's an example. Change the udpreceive port according to the port used in TouchDesigner and change the route object to include the name of the parameters being sent.
