uvc camera directshow driver

hi,
i'm having problems with camera drivers again, maybe someone could enlighten me?
windows 10, video engine: viddl, camera model: http://www.delock.de/produkt/96368/merkmale.html?setLanguage=en
this is basically a standard usb2 uvc compliant webcam and should work with anything from directX 9.0c. the camera should provide 30 fps @ 720p or 15 fps @ 1080p. however the max framerate i get in max is 10fps @ 720p. i have a bunch of options (uyvy, yuvs, 420 - nine in total), some produce an error "could not render capture stream".
with the built in windows 10 camera app, i do get 30 fps @ 720p and around 8 fps @ 1080p. but isn't that using the same directshow/uvc driver? or in more general terms: how are directshow and uvc connected? is max using an own or old uvc version? is there anything i could do about this?

any help is much appreciated!
k
